nice ananas

Ok, so I have a gripe. And ladies, you'll feel me on this. Its harder than nails to find a cute, eco-friendly handbag!

Luckily for all of us, I happened upon this lovely creation by Ananas. That its aesthetically pleasing is obvious. But what makes it sustainable, you ask? The fabric was woven from fibers harvested from the trunk of the sturdy abaca plant, a renewable resource native to the Philippines.

Enough room to fit a girl's daily necessities and then some, and a heckuva lot less hefty than your standard leather hobo. Whats not to like?
